Please review the eligibility requirements before completing an application. We will only contact eligible applicants who have been waiting the longest for housing (based on the date they applied to be on the waiting list).

If at least one household member is working and:

• Your household employment income is below an income limit;
• You are paying more than 40 per cent of your household income on rent;
• You do not owe money to a social housing provider in Ontario;
• You are eligible for the unit size listed; and,
• You agree to move to a pre-approved unit in the housing allowance program.

If you receive Ontario Works:
And you are a household who pays more than 25 per cent of the maximum Shelter Allowance on rent, is eligible for the listed unit size, and meets at least one of the following:

• has reported income from earnings;
• has employment related expenses;
• children are all over twelve;
• is participating in Learning, Earning and Parenting (LEAP).
